Re: Cypress Bend Condo Rebuilding

Dear Mr. Bambino,

I’m writing you this letter because I feel compelled to tell you what a great job you and your company did to bring my condo back from ruin. My condo was literally destroyed because a pipe became clogged from someone throwing trash down from one of the floors above me. I live on the ground floor. I hadn’t been there for awhile and one of my neighbors discovered a smell coming from my apartment. The condo was totally destroyed. At this point, I did not hesitate to get in touch with you because you had done some extensive work on my condo twice before and did a great job. After you assessed the damage and called me, I realized what I was up against.

You sent me a detailed, written report of all the damages and what it would take to totally rebuild my condo. The federal government became involved because the damages posed a health threat. I couldn’t come to Florida because I have a severe heart condition and it wouldn’t have been good for me to be there. I think you described the extensive damage as a “total gut,” which means the apartment had to be completely torn apart and rebuilt. Everything I had in there had to be thrown away. I think you were able to save some brand new appliances and some electronic equipment. The loss was extensive.

You and Sentinel attacked the problem with a great deal of energy. Never have I seen such professionalism exhibited by a company. I couldn’t be there but you kept me abreast of everything you were doing by phone, as well as telling and showing the caretaker of my apartment, Mr. Stewart Buckman (aka-Bucky) what you were doing. Step by step, your workers demolished and rebuilt the unit. I’m sure it was a tremendous challenge for you, and you more than showed that Sentinel was up to the task.

I feel blessed that I was able to get you to handle all the necessary repairs. Kudos go out to you and your magnificent company, Sentinel General Contracting. You exhibited patience, understanding, expertise and professionalism. You have a great staff of workers. That’s all a customer can ask for from a contracting company.

When I finally was able to return to Florida to see the work that was done, tears came to my eyes. I never dreamed I would ever see my condo look like something from a magazine. It was absolutely stunning and gorgeous.

On behalf of my family and myself, I would, once again, like to thank you for bringing joy and happiness to all of us. I’ve had some great experiences in my life, and this is definitely one of them. God bless you and Sentinel.

Atlas Embroidery I hired Rick and Tim Bambino of Sentinel General Contracting, Inc. as the General Contractors for the construction of our new office and warehouse building. To say I was happy and satisfied would be an understatement. The work done by Sentinel and their subcontractors was first class. Every little detail was handled in a way that made it easier for me to focus on getting ready for my grand opening and not having to “babysit” the construction.

Rick and Tim acted in a very professional and friendly way throughout the entire project. They were always very accessible to answer any questions I may have had. They provided enough manpower and even though they always had a supervisor on the job site, one of them made sure to always come out and check on the progress. It’s a nice change to be able to deal with the owners on such an intimate one-on-one basis, it helps relieve any concerns.

Dear Rick,

Condominium Reconstruction and Renovation I want to express my gratitude for a “job well done” on the reconstruction and renovation to our condominium in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. After reviewing a number of proposals (some that were lower) I was nervous about deciding what company to use. I asked one of the residents of my condo community and they recommended Sentinel. Now that the work is done I know I made the right choice. Everything was done as the estimate stated and your company even went the extra mile during the process. Disaster Restoration It is my pleasure to recommend Tim and Rick Bambino for construction work based upon the contract work successfully executed at Cypress Bend II in Pompano Beach, Florida.

The project consisted of six buildings—three high rises, two low rises and a five story building totaling 304 units, 230 of which were severely damaged by hurricane Wilma. The scope of work included mold remediation, drywall removal and replacement, related mechanical, plumbing and electrical work, screen enclosure and storm shutter replacement and window repairs. The work was completed on time, without one single incident and to the satisfaction of every single resident.

Sentinel worked professionally with our Construction Manager, Architect and Property Management team operationally and administratively. The Pompano Beach Building Department presented many challenges, which Sentinel in conjunction with the Architect navigated successfully. The field crews, always respectful of the homeowners and their property performed their work in a craftsman like manner leaving the premises as clean as they had found them on a daily basis.

After spending 36 years in the construction and development industry, I would not hesitate in the least to recommend this firm and their owners for any type of remediation work.

Home Remodel One of the highest compliments that I can give is customer service. I really, felt like the customer with Sentinel Contractors. Tim Bambino and his crew’s work was excellent.

We moved from Atlanta. Before we actually moved, I gave Tim my ideas via Internet, and he coordinated every aspect of our Florida home remodel. The home we bought was a 1950’s beach home. Tim and his contractors brought it into the 21st century. When I first saw the home after we moved, I could not believe it. It was exactly the way I envisioned it in my mind. When things needed to be done, Tim delivered. If he was running late or had to come another day he always called to let me know. He made sure we were happy. This is great customer service to me! When something needed additional attention, Tim was right on the situation. Each one of the people that Tim had work in my house after we moved was very professional and did their assigned job efficiently and timely.

The realtor who sold us the home stopped by and could not believe how beautiful it looked. He thought the remodel was outstanding. He lives in our neighborhood and sells many of the homes here, so he knows of what he speaks. He wanted to know who we used and I felt positive to recommend Sentinel Contractors.

In conclusion, I had a very positive and pain-free experience with Sentinel Contractors. I would definitely recommend Sentinel Contractors should the occasion arise.
